Bob has been a competitive long distance runner for more than forty years and has completed more than 90 marathons and ultra-marathons. Although having only mediocre athletic talent, his enthusiasm for the sport is unyielding. While he doesn't recommend the practice, he once maintained a streak of nearly 16 years without missing a day of running. His marathon PR is 2:36 and his only claim to fame is his wife, Laura.
Laura is a retired international class long distance runner. She represented the USA seventeen times as a member of the National Team, including the World Cross Country Championships, World Cup of Track & Field, IAAF World Championship Road Race and Pan American Games. She has traveled the world extensively on the Professional Road Racing Circuit and competed in the 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2000 US Olympic Team Trials. Her 10K PR is 32:30.
Hailey Coll is a soccer player with big ambitions. She grew up with running and knows more about running shoes than any kid you know. She also knows everything about soccer boots.
Austin was born and raised in Iowa. Initially a football player, the transition to distance running came as a bit of a surprise, but the change has been fairly smooth. Austin competed primarily as a miler throughout college, but is slowly making the transition to longer races. When not running or reading for class, Austin enjoys hiking, biking, basketball, and football. Austin made the journey to Eugene to pursue his Ph. D. in economics from the University of Oregon.
Rick’s passion for running evolved out of the desire to develop and maintain a quality level of physical and psychological fitness. Over the past 30+ years, Rick has completed a plethora of organized road and trail running events ranging from 5 kilometers to the ultra-distances. Two of Rick’s notable marathons were the 100th and 120th Boston Marathons. Rick has a marathon PR of 2:57:08
Jamie grew up in Clifton Park, New York, and began racing competitively at an early age. After completing his collegiate distance running career at Boston College, Jamie transitioned his experience into a Run Specialty Representative position with Adidas, followed by retail and product training positions with New Balance. He made the move to Eugene in 2016, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in architecture at the University of Oregon.
Lindsey is a native Vermonter and former field hockey player and sprinter. After completing a master’s in Exercise Science in May 2015, she made the cross- country trek to Eugene. After a fulfilling college sprinting career at a small Division III school in upstate NY, she skipped any middle distances and hopped right into the marathon in 2010. She loves training and has found it’s the best way to see a new place. Her Personal bests include a Marathon PR of 3:08 and Half Marathon PR of 1:28.
In addition to Kathy's running experience and past employment at a running specialty store, Kathy brings an intimate knowledge of our community. Kathy is a long time Eugene resident who is very involved in the track & field community. She is an Oregon Track Club Masters board member and also volunteers for the Daisy Ducks (University of Oregon booster club).
Solomon was born and raised in Eugene, OR. He grew up around two older siblings who encouraged him to start running early on in high school. He started out as a basketball player who couldn't even run a mile straight and ended up going to state all four years of high school in cross country. He currently runs road races and trains with UO run club and is pursuing his degree in General Social Science at the University of Oregon.
